Now a familiar sight outside Brixton tube station, the very talented
singer/songwriter Ese Okorodudu has been impressing passers by for over
six months.
Originally hailing from Bermondsey but now a long term resident of
Brixton, Ese draws from a wide range of influences, including Lauryn
Hill, Amy Winehouse, Nina Simone and Skunk Anansie.
As well as street busking, she’s also a regular at the wonderful Sing For Your Supper open mic nights, held on Tuesdays at the Queen’s Head in Stockwell.
Ese also performs other shows in bars, clubs and festivals all over the capital – and she’s very, very good!
